Hello from Driplit

Welcome to Driplit, a new way to read by delivering books in small email installments called drips. Drips let you enjoy literature via email, arriving naturally in between all of the other moments in your day.

Driplit came out of my experience running a real-life bookstore called Lorem Ipsum Books in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Everyone loves to read, but modern life has filled the time we used to spend reading with other things.

Driplit is really a combination of two of my previous projects, the other being web based email, webmail. I created one of the first webmail systems and my first startup was smtp.com. Needless to say, I like email.

A natural combination of these two pursuits, Driplit is: read a little bit at a time, over email.

You can select a book, and it will break it up into small chunks (“drips”) that we send you over email. You can read at your own pace, clicking when you’ve read the drip, or allow us to automatically send the next drip on a schedule.
